Welcome to Wandsworth Care Alliance...
Wandsworth Care Alliance (WCA) is a dynamic, independent local charity that aims to give people the opportunity to be involved in the development of local health and social care services. Since our humble beginnings in 1991, how we work and what we do has developed and changed a lot, however the essence of our work remains the same: empowering and supporting the people we work with to have an effective voice in the community.
We operate and manage a number of service user involvement projects as well as working to establish and support some self-governing, self-directing service user and community led organisations, including the Wandsworth Local Involvement Network (LINk). Over the past two decades we have earned a reputation for independent professionalism, whilst remaining supportive and in tune with the issues that are important to the people we work with, and a champion of the grass roots service user and community voice. Our innovative training, development and partnership working has helped underpin our reputation with service users.
Check out our work for more details of what we do. If you’d like to find out more about what we can offer you as a service user, a commissioner of work, or in any other way please contact us. We would be very pleased to hear from you.
